feature\u00a0varieties\u00a0that decompose dead organisms, engage in mutually beneficial relationships with other species, cause disease to plants and animals, and act as predators and parasites.\u00a0 Mycologists\u2014those who study fungi and their relationships with other organisms\u2014note that only a fraction of Fungal species are known and that modern mycology\u2019s potential applications to engineering and other possible contributions remain largely untapped.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_9201\" style=\"width: 145px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a
