2026 ESA Leadership Nominations

We are also accepting nominations for roles on several ESA standing committees — see this page for more information and a nomination form.

ESA members with an interest in service, shaping the future of the Society and furthering the science and practice of ecology are encouraged to nominate themselves or highly deserving colleagues for leadership roles.

This year, the membership will elect individuals to the following positions:

Use the form below to share relevant information about yourself or a colleague/s who you feel can contribute to our leadership and strategic objectives. Nominations are due February 6, 2026. While members of the Governing Board will be elected competitively, the President-Elect (and other officer positions, in relevant years) is now elected via single slate, as is the Board of Professional Certification. The review process for all officer roles will include interviews with select candidates.
